This peep sight disc is used at the top hole of the peep sight to attach it to the rifle. The rifles originally came with 2 discs with different hole sizes, one to look through and the second one that went in the top hole, so they could be switched back and forth. The disc threads are different than the lower attaching screw threads. These are very scarce, and not interchangeable with more standard apertures.
Some parts may need additional fitting to accommodate wear in old firearms.
